1. Who are we?

Vloerverwarming Arnhem is a trading name of AMT Techniek, based in Arnhem and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 82486654. We are the data controller for the personal data processed via this website and our services. 2. What personal data do we process?

We only process data that you provide to us yourself or that is needed to deliver our services:

Contact and enquiry data — name, phone number, email address, address and city when you fill in our quote form, call, email or contact us via WhatsApp.
Project data — floor type, surface area, preferred planning, your description of the situation and any photos you send along.
Customer and invoicing data — when you become a customer: quote, order and invoice data needed for the work and our records.

We do not collect any special or sensitive categories of personal data, nor do we need them for our services.

3. What do we use your data for, and on which legal basis?

Quotes and execution — to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote, contact you and carry out the work. Basis: performance of the contract (or the phase leading up to it).
Records and invoicing — to comply with our legal (tax) obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
Customer contact and aftercare — to answer questions and provide warranty or aftercare. Basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest.
Ad measurement — to see whether our ads lead to enquiries (see the cookies section below). Basis: legitimate interest in measuring our marketing.

We never use your data for other purposes and never sell it to third parties.

4. How long do we keep your data?

Quote requests that do not become an order — up to 1 year after the last contact, so we can help you quickly with a follow-up question.
Customer, quote and invoice data — 7 years, in line with the Dutch statutory tax retention obligation.
Photos of your situation — until the enquiry or job is completed; after that they are deleted unless they are part of the project file.

5. Who do we share your data with?

We only share your data with parties needed to run our website and services, and only to the extent necessary:

Formspree — processes the submissions of our quote form and forwards them to our mailbox.
Netlify — hosts this website.
Google — for measuring ad conversions (Google Ads), see the cookies section.
Trustindex — displays our Google reviews on the website.
WhatsApp — only when you choose to contact us via WhatsApp; WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies.
Bookkeeping/administration — insofar as needed for our statutory record-keeping obligation.

We have agreements in place with parties that process data on our behalf covering the security and use of your data. Beyond that, we only provide your data to third parties with your consent or where we are legally required to.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some of our suppliers (such as Formspree, Netlify and Google) are based in the United States. Transfers to these parties take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies and similar techniques

This website itself uses virtually no cookies. What we do use:

Functional storage — if you close the discount bar at the top of the site, your browser remembers that choice locally (localStorage). No consent is required for this; no personal data is processed.
Google Ads conversion measurement — a measurement tag from Google that only loads after your first interaction with the page. It only tells us whether a visit via an ad leads to an enquiry; we do not build profiles with it.
Trustindex reviews widget — loads our Google reviews from Trustindex's servers.

Prefer not to have this? You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings or use an ad blocker; the website will keep working normally.

8. How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and unauthorised access. All traffic with this website is encrypted via HTTPS, we only ask for the data that is genuinely needed, and only staff who need it for their work have access to your data. 9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

Access — request which data we hold about you.
Rectification — have incorrect data corrected.
Erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten").
Restriction — have the processing temporarily restricted.
Portability — receive your data in a common file format.
Objection — object to the processing of your data.
Withdrawing consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time.

Send your request to info@vloerverwarmingarnhem.nl. We respond within one month. To make sure the request was made by you, we may ask you to identify yourself. Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

10. Automated decision-making

We do not make any decisions about you based on automated processing or profiling. Every quote and every contact is handled personally by a member of staff.

11. Minors

Our website and services are not aimed at persons under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Do you believe we have processed a minor's data without consent? Contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may amend this privacy statement, for example when our services or legislation change. The current version is always available on this page.
